Hello I have a URC 40 remote which I am trying to use to control my Audio Design Associates Suite 7.1 processor. I have used the built in codes and tried the learning feature of the URC 40, with no success.

I have tried contacting both companies and have received no replies back. I am able to use the ADA's RC-40 remote to control the processor with no problem. The RC-40 is an IR remote so that's is not an issue.

This is the last remote I need to setup in my URC 40 and would greatly appreciate any help, advice etc...

Thanks!

So I started looking thru some of the other threads in this forum which may apply to the problem I am having. Looks like the toggle buttons (Vol + Vol -) on the ADA remote, are the buttons I cannot learn on the URC40. Some of the other one touch buttons can be learned.

Anyone have any URC40 experience in this type of situation?

Possible a volume punch-thru issue?

Meaning the Volume button on the URC40 is already being used?

Right, so alias the volume keys from that device to that device.
