Nice review, but you posted it in the wrong forum. :(
My favorite CD player was the Pioneer pd-m630, it remembered all your favorite tracks from the 6-disc magazine you load using TOC from the first disc. It was the last Pioneer model to allow you to shuffle play you pre-programmed favorites. Later players would clear the favorites and only shuffle play every track from every disc. :(

Thanks. I left a note with the admins/mods asking that this thread be moved to the correct forum.
We don't use the CD player much anymore. Bought it second hand years ago. It's a very remote-friendly device and I like the cartridges.
