Hi!

Our new puppy thought that our brand new MX-1200 was the perfect chew toy, unfortunately as one might expect the screen is now destroyed.

I am planning on calling URC directly tomorrow (closed on weekends) to discuss options. Obviously this wouldn't be covered under a warranty, because it's our (ok puppy too) fault.

Does anyone on here know about how much it would cost to replace the screen? We are open to options whether it's through URC, an authorized URC repair shop or replacing the screen myself.

Thank you in advance!

If you don't get positive result from URC, make an offer on this broken mx-1200 off of ebay. You would need to replace screen and board together, meaning you would need it reprogrammed.

Work has been crazy busy for me so I haven't had a chance to call URC just yet, that's the first plan.

Any idea how we could replace the screen/board on it? Programming isn't an issue, my boyfriend works for the Magnolia Audio/Vidoe Design Center and was a commercial Geek Squad installer for years, plus he's certified in programming URC.

Thank you for your reply!

I don't believe you'll get any replacement parts from URC. Most likely they will offer up a new replacement at a discounted price as they do not have "parts" for repair.

Replacement sales on these models has been thru the roof since they started injecting the MilkBone additive... ;>)
