Just got a Roku 3 last weekend. I have a URC MX-450 which I am trying to use instead of the Roku remote. Since it is a new Roku, the remote works via Wifi but the Roku device itself apparently can accept IR signals.
I use my MX-450 through an RF->IR receiver. I have added an "AUX" device in the MX-450 database but it doesn't work even when I put the IR emitter right up to the Roku. Any suggestions?
If I have to, I can purchase a Roku IR remote and use that to teach the MX-450 the codes in learn mode. I would rather not purchase I new remote that I will never use otherwise.
