Under the 'Watch' I have:
Cable
Tivo
and so on.

Under the 'Listen' I have:
Country
Pop Hits
and so on.

I click on the Country button and I would like to rename the button.
If I go to 'Create and Name Device' and try renaming it in there the name does not change at all.
If I try to change it on the right pane (macro area) next to 'Button Name' it will also change my 'Cable' on the left tree to what I'm typing.

Not sure why it is doing this.

Now I can create a brand new 'Listen' button to something and the 'Cable button' is fine.

So I was going to try and totally delete all my 'Listen' buttons and start over but I can't do that either.
I can delete the macro but still can't touch the name or it will do the same as above.

Any answers out there?
Thanks,
Debbie

Debbie, with the MX900, you can just click on the 'Edit Buttons' tab found within the Programming tab. Double click the button you wish to rename and hit enter or just click somewhere else. That is it.

Thx, that worked perfect.
When I first got this remote I read up on how to do tons of stuff and had always gone into 'Create and edit buttons' so I never tried any other way.

So much you can do with this remote and program. Love it.
