At the end of the project, replacing speakers, changing out sources and power amp locations for a golf club in Palm Springs, we're told that the MX-810 that was a rumor until an hour ago always worked just fine to turn on the four TVs and adjust the four DirecTV receivers. But I find it doesn't seem to work.
I need the software. I'll edit this with the rest of the story in a moment, in hopes that someone could make it available to me.
At any rate, we first heard that a system had been put in place but never finished. We saw IR LEDs on the four satellite receivers, with loads of black tape over each one, an MRF-350 set to zone 1, a connected and live RFX-250... but no remote.
Once someone came up with the remote, I can't find any buttons that emit RF. I've checked basic functions on DirecTV receivers 1 - 6 (though there are four in the room). Putting the MRF350 on zone 0, still, no evidence of any RF.
Holding the remote in front of the four receivers and pushing a button switches all four receivers at the same time, so I'm guessing it emits IR all the time. I don't see how this could have worked for them.
Anybody got the software so I could see at least something about this?
Many thanks!
