I installed an RFS200 kit for a customer. Now he wants same deal upstairs in the MBR, wanted to do another RFS200 but obviously I cannot do that. Could I do a MX-350 and MRF-260 base station OR are they on the same frequency? Afraid the answer is YES and can't do this. Only issue would be when someone turned the channel on the cable box downstairs, it would probably turn the channel upstairs too? Same cable box...suggestions? I want to get him an RF remote so he can control his bedroom speakers from there. Believe it or not this TV viewing area is between the MBR and MBath -kinda cool little couch/den in the MBR, hard to explain but really kinda cool.

anyway any help -thx!

Do an I series upstairs to make sure you don't get crosstalk.

Sorry, I read it wrong and though you said an MRF-350 or a MRF260. No the MX-350 is not offered in the i series. You would have to move to a pro pc programmable remote in order to go with the i. You can still try the MX350 with either the MRF-350 or 260 and connect to different IR ports and assign on the remote. I have no experience with either of the remotes you are asking about though, and am not sure if they experience crosstalk issues.

The problem here is the MRF100 in the RFS200 set, you won't be able to stop both remotes from communicating with it.

Go with two mx-350/mrf260's in both places.

I have an RF20 (always puts out rf) and an mx900( i can pick but most go out rf to my mrf) within 20ft of each other with no probs... the mrf350 has like 16 channels so if ur just using the 2 remotes u should be fine just play with the channels.
