Does a universal remote have to be z-wave "enabled" in order to control z-wave products, like the insteon aspire RF switches? I have a URC MX-350 ordered, but I'm second-guessing that decision. If the mx350 can control the z-wave switches, great - I can keep the mx350, but if it can't I'll return the urc. I see that the Harmony 890 is z-wave enabled, so I know that can do it, but I dunno if I want to fork over that much dough.
FYI, I need to control a projector, AVR, DVR, HD-DVD player, and XBOX 360. I'd like to add RF dimmer switches to the HT eventually, too. Thanks for any help in advance.

The remote does need to be Z-Wave enabled and unless I've missed something the 350 is not. You can use X10 or Insteon switches with IR to X10/Insteon "convertors" with the 350. The IR543 is for X10 and Smarthome has just released one for Insteon.
