Just bought a Sony Bravia LCD TV and my MX 500 has learned all the functions except the volume control. I've tried long and short pauses, holding the two at different distances, ect.
I e-mailed Sony to see what code I should use for my MX 500 and they wouldn't give it to me. I have tried all the ones found on this site and those have not worked either.
I hate to buy a new remote just because the volume doesn't work, so I'm hoping someone will have some suggestions.

I figured it out. I just did a "PUNCH THROUGH" from tv to tv. Then it was able to learn the new volume function
