I have had both my MX-500 remotes for 4 or 5 years ,,,, really love them even thought they are both the early models with the finicky center select button (fixed that issue on one of them).
However today the backlighting on one stopped working ,,,,, have pulled it apart and inspected the switch, checked for loose solder joints etc but everything looks normal.
I can’t even see how the backlighting works on these units ,,,,, didn’t see a LED or any other light source.
Any suggestions …. remote seems fine otherwise!!!
