Well it looks like this mythical remote has ALREADY been delayed a month to January.
Look here at the bottom of the page!

Yes, it's been pushed back, but at least we finally did get the MX-1000!

And although there are reports of the MX-1000 PC software being a little crude, people seem to like the remote itself. And, as with the Pronto, the software will get better.

So, as far as the MX-500, we wait...... I'm assuming it will come out, and I like the remote, so I'm going to wait!

I hope we don't get into a great "hissy fit" over delays on this one too!

- Greg :-)

Going by all the complaining people do about ProntoEdit's "un-user friendly" nature, it doesn't sound like MX-1000's software is unique in that way. :-) What counts in the end is functionality.

If the "new math", as it was called in my day, serves me correctly, we should only have to wait half the time for the MX-500 to arrive as we did with the MX-1000.

500/1000 = half the time.

Any advanced mathematicians out there that can verify this?

Greg ;-)

And, yes, Daniel, I agree with you on that one! :-)
