I got my MX-900 remote to work with my Sherbourn PT-7010A by learning commands from the factory remote except for the volume control. It will only raise or lower the volume by 1/2 increment at a time with each button push, if you hold the button down on the MX-900 it raises or lowers by 1/2 increment only and then stops. The factory remote keeps raising or lowering the volume as long as you hold the button down. I have looked for the Sherbourn PT-7010A ir commands but it is not listed any where that I can find or in the ir database. Anyone have ideas how to make the volume work holding the button down or where the codes are listed for my Sherbourn?

IT's just a matter of how the MX-900 captured the IR signal from the Sherbourn remote;

Try different learning tricks: double tapping, pressing and holding, dark room, new batteries etc. there's lots of tricks out there to fix this issue

I really appreciate your reply but so far none of that worked and I am a bit stumped. I guess Sherbourn is not popular enough to have the codes so available like all the other brands so I will just keep playing with it or just use the factory remote and give up on the MX-900 for now.
