I am looking to upgrade from my MX-700 and am seriously considering these 2 models. I am leaning towards the MX-810 but I haven't seen much in the way of reviews on that unit. I like the looks of the color screen and it looks to have the programing functions I need. I am looking to control my TV, Audio system, Dish Network 722 receiver, DVD player and CD player.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I can't help you with the 810 as I just got the 900. I love it. I bought it from the people who installed my HT system. Once they got it set up for me they downloaded the software on my computer and used their password so I wouldn't have a problem getting the updates. It takes some time to get used to (using the software) but the remote itself is great. I love the button placement, the feel is very good. Overall, I am very impressed with it.

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up purchasing the MX-810. I'll post a short review once I have a chance to set it up and use it. It was a tough decision as both look like great units. My old MX-700 was a great unit but is getting worn out (light doesn't work, some switches tough to press).

Thank again.
