What is the procedure for press/hold and press/release for not running the macros? I've quickly pressed and released, and pressed and held it down- they both run the macro.

The remote you are using will be a big help to the folks that are not mind readers.

For a press and hold macro - don't hold the button down.

For an instantaneous macro - hold down MAIN while pressing the button.

Another option is, when you create your macros insert a 2 sec delay at the begining of the Macro, that would initially turn it into a Press & Hold for 2 seconds
