Hi there,
I have a MX700 that I have had for a good few years and am very happy with. I have the full software that updates, yet I'm finding that the IR database is not picking up more and more new devices.
For instance, it doesn't have my TV: Panasonic 37LXTD70, HD-DVD player, Toshiba EP35.
Am I just missing those codes, or are the databases not updating all that well ?

If you go to URC's site you can check the update frequency for the MX-700. IIRC the last IR database update was early fall with only 2 total for this year; I have an MX-850 and am missing several components. I know, you can learn the codes, but it can be a pain if you don't have a laptop and can check them as you learn.
