Very intresting forum you have here, I have been trying to find out some info relating to the URC L 1870, however I should probably start at the begining.
In the begining, lol

I recently bought a pacific video dvd combo but managed to lose the remote control while moving house, I hoped that if I bought the URC L 1870 I could use this to operate it. I have gone through the device code search several times but it seems that the URC doesnt have the codes for the pacific combo.

Can anyone help me out? it seems a waste to throw the combo out as its nearly new.
