I have a MX-700 remote, been a long time since I installed the program on pc (2 computers ago) running vista now hope it even loads and works in vista :)

Anyways I was about to buy a screen from a neighbor for my projector here made by Elite model vmax100uwh but the only problem is he lost his remote controller for it.

I was wondering if there were codes I could manually input on the mx-700 thru the software on the computer that would allow me to raise lower and stop that elite vmax screen?

Just wondered if it was possible and if so what would I need to get or do to make it work.

Worst case I will just email elite about a replacement for that unit, but thought it would be cool if I could get the mx-700 to work it (even tho I don't have the elite remote to program it over with).

Bill :)

I was on the elite site and it looks like maybe there is a way here

[Link: elitescreens.com]

Not exactly sure if mine would be a U G or X model vmax

VMAX100UWH but heck would try them all to see if any of them worked I guess ...

To be honest it has just been SO long and I have never done these code things vs remote to remote point and save, I am not sure how to make one of these codes work with my screen/remote here (its been SO long since i set my mx-700 up even).

I will have to find the installation softward disc, install it and pray it works in vista, then start refreshing myself as to how to create add edit stuff to the remote but hopefully I can make this thing work off the remote to replace that missing remote :)
