Changed from Cable to Sat yesterday. Installer had Cable/Audio/TV(IR)/DVD set up in a macro to turn on and off with the OFF button. Now I want to put the SAT into that sequence but having a problem following the directions in the user manual.
I push Main and Enter simulateously, then Macro, then navigate to SAT. Now do I press the OFF button as the first and only step? This is where I'm getting confused. When I do this, then Light, then Save, then Main x2, it doesn't work.
Any help on setting this up so it turns on and off with the others?

No, you're going to have reprogram the macro from scratch, you can't just add a command to the middle of already programmed macro.

Thanks, Edmund. That makes sense, I wouldn't have thought of that.
Since the installer had it set up to turn them all on AND off with the same button, do I only use that one for the macro and it'll do both? Or do I have to use the on for a step and an off for another?
Also, I was going to the device first, but now that I re-read I'm thinking that the macro button is the off button and then the devices are added after that. Sorry to sound dumb, but the manual isn't very explicit about how to do this.
If it doesn't look from the above like I'm getting it, would you mind walking me through using the OFF button for on and off and adding devices SAT, AUDIO, DVD, and the TV (directly aimed)? I would greatly appreciate it.
