Hi, If I purchase this system am I eligible for the programming software. I'm concerned that my HT programmer won't do things exactly as I wish or I add a device and am forever obligated to pay programming fees.

If you buy from an authorized dealer, they can give you a copy of the updatable software. You may want to check with them ahead of time on this. If you do not get the updatable software, you can still get the non-updatable software by registering your serial number through URC's site.
