Hi there a bit of a problem, I am trying to set up a remote control inteface that has icons that when they are clicked they animate briefly just before they go to the link. I downloaded an animated gif and I tried saving one as a normal gif.

I then put the normal gif in the before image import box and the animated after. I don't know if this is correct, it kinda of worked but only animated if you hold the mouse button down when clicking it.

I would like it to be able to click, then animate, then go to the screen. I tried adding delays but it still only animates if you hold the mouse then a delay.

Just wondering has anyone tried and done this and can you help me out?
Many Thanks,
Greg

You need to set them up by using variables. Make a variable with the name of the button. When you program the button there is a icon in the macro box that look like 2 envelopes( variables), set the variable to 1 and then the rest of the macro. On the top right of the program you will see a down-arrow in the variable box, set it to the variable named for the button you are wanting to animate. Run the emulator and it should do what you are looking for.
