Hello, just baught a new XPS dell for my buisness. As you all know all the new computers are loaded with Vista. I need to run the follwing programs on this laptop.

MX-3000
MX-850
Phillips Pronto ng
Elan via tools

The one that worries me is Via tools.

Has anyone had any luck with this?

Thanks

Ps, you can't fix stupid

Try the CI lounge, Elan Via tools is not a URC product.

What about the two listed that are URC products?

I can say that the MX-850 works fine in Vista. It's the only one I have, so it's all I can comment on.

I do know that the software for the 3000 requires activesync which has changed in Vista. It now has the Mobile Device Sync Center which I understand URC has not updated to work with as of yet. I wish they would. I'd really like to get a MX-950, but won't unti I know it works in Vista.

There are notes in the one of the URC forums that describe how to get the 3000 to work with Vista.
