Not sure where to post this, but since URC has the biggest code database? So I thought here.

I have a Worldtech WT-808 Portable DVD player with 8.4" screen
[Link: worldtechelectronic.com]
it does DVD/SVCD/DIVx/XVid/TV Tuner etc. I have lost the remote control to it.

I have tried contacting Worldtech but they are not answering emails, and they are based in Thailand.
I am in New Zealand.

I have a Logitech Harmony 880 and 890, but Logitech say the have no codes for the Worldtech WT-808 portable dvd player.

I was wondering does anyone know of any universal remote that would have codes for the Worldtech devices, WT-808 in particular?

thanks

Only one problem, without a URC remote you're not going to be able to use the codes. There's no way to get them into any other format short of using a URC remote to teach them.

Either way, there's nothing listed for Worldtech in the URC editors.

That's ok, if it meant buying a URC remote to have the functionality then so be it. Just need to find which universal remote may have the codes

Most small manufacturers either OEm or outsource the manufacturing of products like these. So it's likely that the code set for some other device from a different manufacturer would operate your device. Try doing a code search where the remote lets you search through all available codes one at a time. The odds are actually pretty high that you'll find a compatible set of codes.
