Hi,
I just switched from Brighthouse cable to Verizon Fios. Verizon switched out my cable box and now I have a Motorola HD/DVR QIP6416-2. Can someone tell me how do I update my MX850 to replace the old Scientific American Brighthouse box with my new Motorola FiOS HD/DVR QIP6416-2 so I can use it with my MX850? I also use the MX850 with my Yamaha receiver and Samsung TV which still appear to be working fine for those components.

Irv,
The latest software doesn't include your cablebox. Try using the Motorola DCT 6412 and see if that helps, if not learn it from the FIOS remote.

It should work just fine with the 6412 code. The 6416 is just the 6412 with a larger hard drive (basically), and as rj has said, if you need anything more, just learn it from the Fios remote.
