Sure, they will work with the Xbox 360. URC recently released a line of remotes aimed at gamers. You can find them at Kmart/Sears and other major retailers. Thank you, Damon DG = = = = = http://www.ProRemotes.com - Authorized Dealer & Remote Programming Services

I have the RF-30 and was planning on buying the 20 dollar xbox 360 remote to re-program the RF-30. I am currently using the xbox 360 as a dvd player and find it pretty annoying to have to use the controllers to work the dvd functions. Has anyone done this? I'm assuming the xbox remote is IR but don't really know since the controllers are RF. This is the remote I was thinking about getting for programming purposes: [Link: amazon.com]Thanks in advance.

Yes, I believe the remote is IR and you should have no problem learning the commands.

Have you tried the preset AUX code 408 in the RF30 on the xbox 360?
test the code with xbox on.

I tried the 408 code and some buttons seem to work. My next question is: Is there any way to know without trying all of them, which buttons do what?

I don't have a xbox, I would think play is play, pause is pause? It's the dvd commands that probably mapped, don't expect to use the rf30 as a gaming controller.
