Can the MX-900 control lighting (preferably z wave)? Also, does the remote allow you to create macros with lighting configurations in them? For instance if I press "Watch TV" the following actions occur:

Television turns on
A/V Receiver turns on
Cable box turns on
Lighting dims to preset level (does the lighting come on to the preset level or do the lights ramp up/down to the level?)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It cannot direcly interface with Z-wave. If there is some way to get Z-wave to accept IR, then yes.

X-10 does have IR receiving modules.

The remote will control anything that can be controlled with IR.
I'm using Lutron spacers and it works just like you stated.
If you back up a page, you can also adjust the light up or down, or turn them off or on.

thank you. I do want to stay with z wave, and unfortunately they don't accept ir commands.
