I've recently swapped my Canon G1 for a Minolta Dimage 7, and I'm left with some very nice accessories:

- Tele Converter TC-DC58
- Wide Converter WC-DC58
- special adapter barrel for 49mm lenses
- incredible Speedlite 420EX flash

... looking to sell. ... Mike

Daniel, that's a hoot. But wait: the 7 has a 200 mm equivalent zoom built in; I don't think I'll ever really want to purchase the tele for it.

So how do you like the Dimage? It is one fantastic camera, although I haven't been able to overcome it's portrait-length auto-focus jitters.

Egads! A response!

Yes, they are compatible; same barrel threads, specs for the flash hotshoe, etc. I will get back to you: I have to dig up my receipts and see how much pain I can take... ... Mike

I would be interested in some of those accessories as well, price willing of course. When you dig up those reciepts, put up some prices, then we'll talk again.

It's unthinkable that I have let this post go since Christmas Day! Sorry about that, gentlemen, but trust me... you wouldn't want to hear my reasons for being so tardy.

I am happily addicted to my Minolta Dimage 7, and still have the accessories that I bought for the Canon G1 late last year. Note that they were barely used, and I upgraded to the D7 with a couple of months of buying them. Here's a price list:

Tele Converter TC-DC58. Paid: $200 Cdn / $130 U.S. Asking: $120 / $75

Wide Converter TC-DC58. Paid: $300 Cdn / $200 U.S. Asking: $180 / $112

420 EX Speedlite Flash. Paid: $400 Cdn / $265 U.S. Asking: $250 / $156

Lensmate and StepRing: $20.

These doodads all fit the newer G2 as well.

Note that I checked around for current U.S. prices on the web, and this list reflects those prices... .

If anyone is interested, please lemme know, either here or vial e-mail at [email protected]. ... Mike

Daniel, I was going to ask if you'd stopped looking for a tele for your Dimage 7, since the camera lens itself offers up to 200 mm on the zoom... but now I see that there is already a new Dimage 7i due out in April with a whole bunch of improvements and added features. Time to trade up!

BTW, I still have those Canon items for sale. ... Mike
