I have a marantz SR-870 (bought in US but I now live in UK). It is a 5 channel reciever with pro-logic etc... and comes with the RC-2000 as the standard remote. It has pre-ins and pre-outs and has 100 W/channel to front 3 speakers and about 80 W/channel to rear 2 speakers. Several other surround modes besides pro-logic. Mainly it is a high quality amplifier.
I also have the Marantz DP-870 dolby digital converter. Adds high quality DD to the SR-870. Include RF for laserdisc as well as coaxial and optical input from CD or DVD. COntrollable with RC2000
350 pounds with remote.
Will need a 120v transformer for use in UK.
