Touch screen on my TSU9600 has stopped working. Repair cost at authorized repair center is $250, would rather find a unit that can be salvaged for parts if one exists...

No but the frugal engineer in me has a hard time paying $250 to replace something that probably costs $30 and that I know I can do myself and is about 1/3 the price of just replacing the entire unit... (especially if the marantz version of the 9600 would fit the philips version)
Kids crunched my 6000 back in the day and I was able to replace the screen and touch pannel for about $40... (yep - there's a pattern here, remote longevitiy and kids...)...
Anyhow... Been looking for replacement parts too rather than a replacement remote if anyone knows a source. I see them available from philips but cannot buy them since I'm not a dealer...
