Does any one know where I can locate a Sony remote control for a boombox that is 3 years old? It's a Sony XPLOD model number CFDG555CPK. I have contacted Sony and the remote has been discontinued and no Sony part suppilers have it. I hope someone can help. Thanks Coldfox

Don't know if they will have your exact unit, but they do have a whole page or two of replacement remotes in their catalogue. You can request one by mail or look online. I've gotten several deals from these folks in the past. If you strike out with the remote, at least you may have a new source for Electronic "widgits" and the like.

I would assume that any boom box remote would do the trick, if cost is an issue look at the RM-AX1400 available on Ebay for around $15 and just program it.
