I have a brand new RTI T2+ that I had laying around unopened for a little over a year. When I finally got around to playing with it I noticed the IR only worked from a very short range. The RF worked perfectly. I should have opened it sooner when I was in the warranty period.

Anyone who wants to use if for an ALL RF application or for parts best offer takes it. Again, MINT condition but RF only.

Thanks,
Vincent

Yes, I already did that and it does indeed work fine, but it looks like complete SH#&. I can't even look at it that way. Anyone want to live with it? My OCD may have something to do with me not being able to ignore this problem.

Thanks for the input.

I wonder what it costs to get a new and improved IR window from RTI. God forbid the ship it out for free since it was a defect.

I have a couple of the IR lenses for the T1 and T2+ remotes. Ha d a couple of clients drop theirs and lost the lenses, so we got about 4-5 of them in for replacements. I still have a couple of them around
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
