Why are there SO many Pronto's for sale?
Do people buy 'em and then not fully use them? Do people find out that they hate touchscreen remotes? Do people simply want to upgrade to the ProntoPro? Is it just that because these are so expensive that people feel compeled to try to salvage their investment when they do not bond with the remote, .vs. shelving a $30 remote? Are these just way overpriced and not worth the $$$.
Not to be critical of the pronto, it's just that every time I go to Marketplace, I ALWAYS see several Prontos for sale here, what gives?

It is similar to the question: how come there are so many Honda Accord's for sale?

jb,
I think you answered your own question :-)
I think the Pronto is the best $$ I have spent on my home theater - It is amazing. I can definitely see how some people wouldn't want to bother with setting up the pronto (that's half the fun). For Example: My boss is sold on how cool the Pronto is but would only get one if he could have someone else set it up for him. He wants the benefits without the tweaking.
The number of devoted Pronto users shows that while it is a great product but it is not for everyone.

All except the last one $$$$ (the price is expensive but there is nothing cheaper that even compares to it).
