Using Yamaha software and specifications, I am able to backup your existign hard drive (80Gb -> 80GB), copy programming, databbase and all music data to a new, larger drive (80GB - > 160, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500), or create a larger drive preformatted for use in your Yamaha MusicCAST MCX-1000 unit. Yamaha specificies only top quality, quiet, long warranty, but not cheap drives. I am willing to try cheaper ones at your request. I will warranty for 30 days that all you music will be as it was on your old hard drive or I'll redo the backup process and return the drive to you at no cost. Drop me a line for a price list.

I would be interested in upgrading to a 500 or 750GB hard disk. I can provide you the disc if that would help. What would be your price list?

Thank you for the reply.

Good Monrning, I am also a musccast owner wanting to backup my hdd. First can I send you a cd/dvd to burn the iso file to, secondly what is the file type that the music is stored into on a musiccast system?

Your help is appreciated

Thank you,
