The SC4 system preamplifier handles all the audio/video control functions for four rooms and up to eight sources, and the PA8 eight channel amplifier was designed to power all four rooms independently from a single compact unit. Multiple preamplifiers may be linked to control up to 24 rooms.
This generation adds video switching capability and a redesigned control panel which is easier to use. And unlike other multi-room systems, the SC4 features open architecture and a pre-programmed IR library of the most popular source units so that you may use your favorite audio and video sources and monitors without being limited to on-brand. The system is upgradeable, so that when future models are introduced, the IR library can be upgraded to include them.
This unit is BRAND NEW. I purchased too many of these systems for our home and am just now getting around to selling it. I beleive the original cost on this unit was around $2,000.
