Bought an RCA touchscreen at Fry's, but it is a pain. Looked like a good value, the main problem is that the keys that are learned don't respond automatically so when scrollin through my ATT cable it takes forever to scroll down between channels on the on-screen guides.
I spent the night online trying to find a deal on a good universal on e-bay and even considered gettin an IPAQ3950 but after going to the site that supplies the software for the IR remote the forum states that most werre dissapointed and I didn't want ot waste $700.
I really would like some advice on the slickest touchscreed I can get for a few hundred or less. Have Denon A/V, Toshiba 60", Phillips DVD & VCR combo, & Denon CD. Ended up pulling the cable remote back out to surf channels after 2 hours of progamming the junk RCA remote.
Do most universals have the same "delay" problem when using the keys to scroll through channels quickly?
I guess I'm asking what's the best deal I'll find anywhere online fro $100-300. Thanks

mike -- the HTM MX-500 might well be what you need. I have one (as do many here) and LOVE IT. Should work with your system just fine - but do check out the support for the combo before buying>

you seem to be looking for a touchscreen remote, so the Pronto is the best choice. Read the review (also read what's new sep. 4 and 5. The MRSP for the Pronto is 399, but you can find it easily for under 250 new, look at some of the advertisers
