I'm selling my Radio Shack 15-1994 because the backlight no longer works. The remote works perfectly otherwise.

I'm asking $25 shipped in the continental US, or I will trade for a Radio Shack 15-2104 in perfect working order.

PayPal is preferred, but I will accept check or money orders as well.

You can contact me with any questions at [email protected]

Thanks!

Well I picked up a 15-2104 today so I am no longer looking to trade for one. I will lower the asking price to $20 O.B.O. including shipping.

I'd hate to throw away a perfectly good remote just because the light doesn't work.

DAN,

DOES THE BACKLIGHT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE LEARNING OR PROGRAMMING OF THE RC? ON CERTAIN REMOTES YOU MAY HAVE TO WATCH FOR A SEQUENCE OF BLINKING LIGHTS, ETC. I WOULD REALLY ONLY BE INTERESTED IN THIS REMOTE AS A SECONDARY UNIT FOR TWEAKING MY AV-3000. DOES THIS UNIT HAVE "DISCRETE CODES?" THAT'S REALLY WHAT I GUESS I WOULD BE AFTER.

Danny,

No, the backlighting is not used in programming the remote. There is a seperate red light which is used for that function. (which is working)

Does it have discrete codes? This remote can trigger discrete codes if they exist for your equipment. (I'm not sure if that answers your question or not)

There is a wealth of information available about this remote on these forums & on the web, but let me know if you have any other questions. Here are some links:
