Hi. What is a CCF file. iProntos Editor can load these. I don't seem to be
able to see that in the manual. IS it for the older versions?

Firmware:
----------
Can iPronto load its firmware from
a). Part of the icf file.
b). Be downloaded from somewhere and put onto a MMC card
for iPronto to access?

What if you can not connect the the Internet via iPronto.
Is there a way to update the firmware without the Internet.

MMC Cards that work.
----------------------
Scandisk 64mb
Hypertec 128mb (bought it for £1.85p fully inc.) Works well.

Any more?

and finally... Can you switch off EPG.

Thank you.

You cannot turn off the EPG even though it doesn't update anymore. I think wireless through the internet is the only way to update the firmware and it seems Philips has stopped that too.

Does anyone have copies of the actual firmware file? Maybe we can trick the router into relaying the ipronto.philips.com url or whaterver the actual link is that the ipronto is trying to connect to and re-direct it to a local computer that is serving the file... I'm having an issue where I cannot get mine to boot, or when it does, the touch screen doesnt work, and i'm trying to update the firmware, or at least re-install it in hopes of fixing the device. Anyone have any suggestions, or know what URL/file the iPronto is looking for?

The firmware upgrades were never available as d/l, just over the internet. So, I don't know how you can get them unless you ask Philips (so you can hear that don't care).
