My iPronto will not reset/boot...would appreciate any suggestions to resolve.

Have just generated my first *.icf to control a few items. The *.icf downloaded to the iPronto successfully and all components worked a few times correctly, or at least appeared to do so. After an evening of TV viewing, the iPronto screen would not turn off, neither timing out nor with switch on left. I used "reset" on back and went to bed after it started the reboot process. Next morning it was at the boot screen with the curves radiating out from the "o" character and presumably was there all night (AC adapter was connected). Switch on left had no effect, so tried "reset" again and watched. It blanked the screen and began a normal start up, cleaning up resources, yatta, yatta, and then appeared the blue logo screen with the radiating curves and no further. Disconnected battery, walked away for a few hours, reconnected, same result. Can't get into system to download previous *.icf (one that came with unit). I have no idea what caused this catastrophic mess. Through all of these reboots the small window that displays the clock and battery power is blank. Unit has software version v1.9.x (not sure what the "x" is but I think it was a "5" or "6"). iProntoEdit software is version v2.6.3.0.

So two questions: (1) is there any way to get past this screen, and (2) any ideas what may have caused this in the *.icf? I created panels for a Sony Qualia 006 rear projection TV, Escient MX111 server, McIntosh MHT200 A/V unit, TiVo HD Series3, and X10 IR-543 IR-to-X10 controller for lighting. iPronto IR codes were learned from the respective remotes except X10 codes which I copied from one of the amazing *.icf files posted to this website (you guys have done incredible things!). Appreciate any help...
John

Have you guys tried accessing the boot-up menu and then forcing a firmware upgrade? I forget which button you have to hold down (scroll wheel?) but it's been mentioned in the forums before.

Check the wifi card on your remote, see if the green light is lite. remove and replace the card then reboot remote, worked for my ipronto.
