The remote is fine if you just accept it for what it is and not what it was claimed to be. I agree with the comment about Philips.

I am very happy with the remote. I bought it cheap to. The remote does everything a universal remote should do! I really just wish you could use the speakers!

@dankchief: We all love our iProntos! They do want they should do!
But of course: Half of the hardware of the iPronto does nothing - thanks to Philips.
And we have a "unsafe" device because it's still using WEP encryption for WIFI - and we'll not get any update to fix this BUG (yep, it's a BUG).
I only can warn any people to buy some Philips stuff. If you get it cheap @ebay - that's fine! Otherwise keep you money ..........
