The following has been done.
determine the IP address of your iPronto. e.g. 192.168.40.15 this should be the IP address of your iPronto.

On your laptop/PC open a cmd prompt ("DOS box", run cmd.exe).
There write
ping 192.168.40.15
and you should get a reply.

If this works, the network connection is fine.

Next, take a look at WIFI encryption. What's the encryption of the access point (WEP ... none :-) - check with iPronto. Must be the same.

Try to open a website on iPronto, e.g. www.ebay.com

Working?

Fine. Network is working.

I am STILL unable to upload or download from the iProntoEdit Software. Any ideas?

Do you have "File Share" enabled on your computer?

@Ted:
Filesharing is not needed for communication between the IprontoEdit prog and the iPronto. It's using plain IP communication.

Best regards,

Kalle

Try making sure the right IP address is being put in the ipronto address box when you send. Try typing it manually to make sure. Also try static ip address just to make sure the ipronto is where it should be.

I had to type the IP address in the iProntoEdit software. I was trying to let it find the remote on its own. I think everything is finally working. Thanks for everyone's help.
