I've been using IPRONTO quite some time now, but recently i've purchased an air cond unit with IR remote but the IPRONTO seems to be not capturing the IR signal. I'm using a Toshiba unit, any ideas what's going on, or the IPRONTO is just for AV system only ?
Cause i've a few clipsal IR dimmer install in my house and the IPRONTO could capture the dimmer remote signal without any problem.

Hello, I had a similar posting asking if anyone configured a climate control with ipronto yet with no luck. What kind of climate control is it?

I would assume if yours had IR then the iPronto would control it. How ever why on earth would you want IR control? If you have to point the remote at it, doesn't that defeat the purpose of being able to control climate from around the house remotly? Perhaps the unit is RF and if it is the pronto will NOT learn the RF.

I would like to find an RF climate controller that can receive signals from an X10 IR to RF receiver. let me know if you know of any.

look at smarthome.com. It has a variety of remote-controlled thermostats. Some work off X10. Since X10 works great with iPronto, maybe that is a solution you will like. I recommend that you call Smarthome. They have some pretty good techs that can advise you.
