Anyone experience this problem?

All will be working well - then buttons on the left side of screen will not work properly. Example - Press a button on the extreme left side of the screen and an indication for the button to its immediate right is shown as depressed. Some of the buttons on the right side will not work at all.

If you go to the setup screen and do a calibration - touch four of the "crosshairs" around the screen and when you touch the fifth one in the center it gives you a calibration failed error. I have re-tried the calibration 15-20 times - all failed.

I did a search on this site and someone mentioned the same problem. He/She stated the remote was left for a period of time with the battery dis-connected and that fixed the problem. I tried that yesterday and it fixed the problem temporarily but the same problem is back today.

Any one have any ideas?

Thanks
Ted
