This is a plea to anyone with any advice.

The better half was moaning that my iPronto was dirty, so gave it a quick clean with a damp cloth......still dirty around buttons etc, so foolishly decided to take it to bits..........things appeared to go well. BUT.....

when I put it back together I had two screws left over, trust me I've been through the device several times, examined every possible place and still have two left!! But worse the screen is bright....and flickers.

I have checked every connector, everything appears as it should.

I have spoken to some of my electronics guys who have agreed to have a look, but have asked for the service manual...anyone got a copy or anyone got any advice, exploded photos of their pronto etc?!?

My e-mail address is [email protected]

Any help or advice appreciated as it still works, but trying to read the screen is a nightmare!!

Many thanks in advance

An update on progress....

It would appear that the power supply for the screen is faulty, which is causing it to flicker...which means easy solution a new motherboard. Does anyone know where to get one from, I've sent a e-mail to Philips but not holding my breath. Or does anyone have a broken ipronto they would be willing to part with for a small sum of cash??

Many Thanks All
