RTI announced a new remote called the T4 which looks to be similar to an iPronto. Check it out at [Link: rticorp.com]. Has anyone seen this? If so, any comments?

Wow, VERY NICE! Looks like someone may have Philips ipronto really beat! The stock interface/theme seems pretty nice too! Any further news, price, details and abilities on this would be great if anyone has any?

I emailed RTI. The MSRP on this baby is $2499. Yeow!!!!! RTI distribution is such that you can only buy this device through an RTI authorized installer.
Unlike Philips, RTI has a reputation for providing rock-solid remotes and great customer support. If this baby follows that model, maybe it's worth it to somebody out there - but not me. :-)

Wow, what a joke. Have they ever heard of a focus group before establishing a price point?

The price point fits since it is 2 way capable, I am strongly considering switching over to this remote for more reliable RF and 2 way which is important when your equipment is not in the line of sight. When you think of it, it is more like an affordable crestron unit!!!
