No need to shout! :)

Your other option is to use an MMC card to do it.

Thanks! Went out bought an MMC/SD 128Mb card last night but can't figure out what to do with it! I noticed 1 of the units is only running 1.6.? firmware so I will update and see if ipronto will reconize mem card when inserted.
Here's what I'm trying to do: Since current problem exists with wifi netwk, I need to use card to get file out of both ipronto's and into iprontoedit. where I can work on files i.e. "clean them up" than reload them into iprontos. Problem is that staff member who was doing this job left in the middle of project and took existing iprontoedit files with him which were on his lap top compter. This will allow me to finish remote control features of both units until my computer guy can get ot cust's house and fix wifi netwk

As noted in my last post, I was going to attempt to update firmware from 1.6 to 1.9 version but I'm unable to get either of the 2 iprontos to reconize any wifi signal strength in order to get on web and down load new firmware. I've tried ssid netwks, open unsecured networks, using DHCP. Yet, screen with signal level shows zero. I even tried to use the wifi card from my lap top but this locked up the ipronto. ANY SUGESTIONS OUT THERE, ON WHAT GLICHES THESE UNITS HAVE WITH THEIR WIFI CARDS.
ALSO, STILL NEED TO KNOW A LITTLE MORE ABOUT mmc SLOT AND CARD USE. IPRONTO MANUEL SAYS SLOT DISABLED, IPRONTO I'M WORKING WITH DOESN'T DO ANYTHING WHEN I INSTALL SD/MMC card , YET ANOTHER THREAD TALKS ABOUT OTHERS HAVING SUCCESS WITH MMC slot to transfer between ipronto & ipronto edit. DO I NEED THE FIRMWARE TO USE THIS SLOT?

Try using a 32 MB, or smaller, MMC (no SD) card - SanDisk brand worked for me

Hey Chris - sat down at 2am and reread your thread about MMC with the emails between you & phillips. 2nd reading was more understood because wife, kids , & employees not around. After connecting to your link for the pdf on using the mmc slot, seams like my biggest challange is trying to figure out why wifi card is not connecting to any wireless net which in turn will allow me to udate firm ware from 1.6 version on board which doesn't support mmc. Afterthat mmc should work but then I won't need it because I can upload & download via wifi. What a catch 22! Or, tail chaser!
Thanks for all your responces!

Good News for you :)

But, it should be interesting for all users to know the exact process to send an ICF file, from IprontoEdit to Ipronto, by MMC
-> Writing ICF by the PC on the MMC card : OK
-> But loading ICF by the Ipronto, from the MMC : I doesn't find where it is..

Thanks to anyone for his experience about this :)

Still cant get my 128mb MMC card to be recognised :-(

Oh well, at least my ipronto has worked faultlessly for some considerable time now ! (thanks Phil still in your debt)

Chuch Jr have you checked your access point is mixed b/g or b only ? I have mixed mode here. You also may want to try changing the channel, I am using channel 8 on my AP

I've made some progress today with getting wifi netwk trouble & iprontos to surf again. Currently in middle of the situation and should have 1 heck of a story to tell by end of weekend!
