Has anyone had success coming up with their own method of solving the "learning mode" issue with the new software release? I'm holding off on upgrading until there appears to be a solution...either from Philips or from this forum.

Thanks

I haven't actually tried this, as I haven't had to learn anything yet, but it strikes me that the obvious solution is simply to open iProntoedit, load (or download from iPronto) your configuration file, re-enable the toolbar, reload it to your iPronto. Then you should be able to learn codes, upload them to iProntoedit, disable the toolbar and then resend it to your iPronto. It's a bit longwinded, but it should work. I have to say the whole learn function is a bit longwinded anyway compared to the old Pronto method. But at least it's not something you have to do an awful lot of. The above method only actually adds one extra step to the process.

Actually....that sounds like a decent workaround. I didn't realize that you could activate and deactivate the toolbar (I guess that's logical, but I didn't want to go forward with the new software without having some ability to 'learn'. Thanks for the reply and the idea.
