okay, i'm just stumped. i've downloaded the 1.94 and all but i cant seem to get it detected on ipronto edit. maybe i've missed something, but i've been awake 20 hours and i'm just frustrated. please help.
oh yeah should point out, i've just gotten the ipronto and i've not got it to detect at the other version as well. network just doesnt have it. can i manually communicate it one to one without a network?

Try canging to a static IP

static ip meaning the fixed ip address? i've got it on that. please more suggestions...

Well, you're using the new version of Pronto Edit ?!?

Try to ping the IP of your pronto from you PC, does it works?

Can you use the browser windows on your iPronto, I mean can you access the internet web?

Some changes in your network WLAN access point? Can you ping this one?

How "strenght" is the signal on your iPronto?

yes prontoedit 2.2
can ping the the ip address on the ipronto
the device can surf the net as well, no problems there
signal strength is just under half bar
still cant connect the prontoedit to it, please more suggestions.

was thinking is there a way i can link it one on one without going thru the network?

You can write your iProntoEdit file to a MMC and load it from the slot on the iPronto...
Stey at or below a 32M card ... have issues with larger cards
