Guys,
I'm afraid I won't gonna like your reply, but here we go:

After the boot process the iPronto defaults to the last screen used, but subsequently it won't respond to touchscreen input. The hard buttons work, and the scrollwheel works, but nothing from the touchscreen. I can't change screens or anything. Booting etc. works fine. The screen looks fine. When I put my ear on the speakers, I can hear a faint fast ticking sound. Tried resetting, letting the battery run dry etc. but nothing seems to reactivate the touchscreen. Anyone heard of this problem before?

Regards,
StefanS

Does the touchscreen work in setup? If not, I suspect the touchscreen is dead. If it works in setup then I suspect something else is dead. in either case the Grim Reaper has probably visited your unit. Send it back

Barry,
thanks.
Indeed, Touchscreen seems to have died on me without reason. Scary this can happen..

I'm now waiting for a replacement. Helpdesk people seem pretty helpful though (- but I reserve my judgement until everything is back to normal.)
