Hi, I wonder if anyone else has had this one and found a work-around. I just got a Pioneer DVD575 player. When I use the supplied remote, a quick press of the buttons is sufficient to activate the function. But when I learn the code in my iPronto I have to then hold the button down for a longer period of time before the Player recognises it. It makes menu navigation a bit of a pain. It's hardly th end of the world, but I can't get my head around why this is happening! I have tried learning the codes by a quick press and a long press of the button, in case that was the problem, but it didn't affect it.

Oddly, Play and Pause work fine with a quick press!

Anyone else had this and found a solution?

The learned codes sound like they are dirty. By that I mean they contain noise and are not of the optimum size (length) or contain repetitions because of the noise. Send me your ccf (I assume the pioneer codes will be obvious) by email (see my profile) and I will look at what it would take to clean them up.

Thanks for that. I'll do that shortly. Sorry for the delay in replying, my Internet has been dead for a week and a half!
