If I import an iPronto from the US, will I have any problems using it in the UK? Is the PSU universal? Can it be configured to download UK TV schedules rather than US?

Yes, no problems on either.

You just need a 'kettle' lead the same as an ordinary PC or monitor. However, the unit will not be covered by a European warranty and will have to be shipped back to your supplier if it develops any problems

You will also be laible for VAT, import duties and usually a courier charge for dealing with teh import on your behalf.

Yes, but with the current weak $ it's quite a saving!

I imported my ipronto from BlueDo... who were OK.

However I ran into serious problems when I tried to get mine fixed. The US vendor is NOT who fixes the product its Philips direct in the USA.... and Philips US direct will not deal with you.

See "Network Problems" and "RMA Service" threads below......

my advice.... buy from www.letsautomate.com

I bought a European version from George at this website for Euro 1000 no duty to pay, not sure if they still sell them but worth a try. www.mm-p.de
