Hi all,

I have looked on this site, and have had no luck finding the discrete codes for this cable box. The lack of a discreet "power off" and "power on" is especially giving me grief! Any ideas?

Many thanks!!

For the Sci Atl 3100HD the following are the code numbers for the power codes
PowerOn = 56
PowerOff = 49

I do not know if they exist or are the same for the 4200. If you do not understand what key code numbers are then go to the files section and try and find my original monograph on IR coding for the Pronto's. If you send me some samples of the IR codes (a ccf or icf will be fine) that you have for the 4200 I will try and see if I can build one with the poweron/power off codes. I am not sure they will work, as they may not exist

Barry, I was not aware the 3100 had discreet codes. I was wondering if you can email your ccf with them so I may try them out on my won system?

I too would be interested in testing this file Barry. I have been looking for discrete codes for the SA 4200HD box for quite some time.

The report back from the field was that the codes did not work. I suspect the unit does not have discrete power codes.
